Re: Feature Question: User-Defined callsign Makers on the Panadapter

Tim,
Place your frequencies desired into memories, then edit the memory title to what you want (ie call and freq such as "KA1GJU 3928"
Then in the "ribbon bar", toggle the marker to on (hard to see but the three checkmarks and lines are highlighted in blue). By default, memories are marked, but you ...

Re: where should I post

Yes, very low signals for FM band if operating via one antenna and one radio**. I gave up on the USB RTL Dongle devices +10 years ago and use primarily Airspy HF Discoveries or Airspy Minis. So my recollection of how to operate them is nonexistent!
Since no call sign or other clue was given as to ...

Re: where should I post

A screen shot (un-edited) showing the DSP panel settings would help tremendously!
Having said that, you may be new to SDR-Console.
First, for FM broadcast, you need to be in the FM BC mode (FM Broadcast) for optimum filter width. There are a few FM modes with SDRC, FM Narrow, FM Wide, and FM ...

Re: Satellite: I'd , signal demodulation.

If Google image is correct, the image above is using some sort of Android SDR software, and states it's on 447.400. That frequency is in the 70cm amateur band, and more specifically... the FM repeater segment of the band. Amateur satellites are down lower in the band around 443.00 MHz and above.

Re: W8GTX testing

I was discussing that with him last night. The default gains are a bit too much.

Needs to put some data in the server manager to give us a hint of what's the realistic settings should be.

Re: W8GTX testing

Max,
It's showing now. It was missing the default username/password for the guest account in the On Air tab of the manager. As of ~ midnight Zulu, it was operational. We were PMing to get things right yesterday.

Re: W8GTX testing

You appear on list of servers only if you search for your call, or by checking valid status. So you are reachable, but since there's no guest username/password to exchange with a potential client, no SDR's appear in the list.
Step 1: You need to make a guest account under the Accounts tab of the ...

Re: SDR Repeater

How about a controller that limits TX time (TOT aka Time Out Timer), RXed PL Tone status line, PTT line, CW (or voice ID), ID timer and remote control for starters.
You will need duplexers… they need to be purchased and tuned to your frequency pair. You need to obtain a frequency pair from your ...
