Anyone here use SDR Console with Malahit DSP2 radio? What is your experience with that combo?

What special settings related to External Radio should be set when using modes such as FT8 or JS8Call?

Does the use of SDR Console for digital modes impact critical timing required for these digital modes in any way?

I'm wondering why when I use SDR Console WITH JA8Call I get no signal in or out ...

I think I'm missing proper settings in SDRC when transmitting and/or when using in conjunction with JS8Call.

Is there any particular setting I need to look for when TXing in HF or digital modes?

I use External Radio and the panadapter reacts properly when I transmit. I've worked VHF routinely and ...

Thanks Kriss. SDRC started opening automatically on reboot, and I don't want it to. I don't know where that setting is to reverse it. Does the image help?

I don't recall setting Console this way, but what is the setting that causes SDR Console to open when the computer boots up? Not sure if that setting is in Windows or SDRC.

As I was wandering back to bed after one of my numerous pit stops, I thought faff might be short for kerfuffle. It does sound mildly related and would fit the scenario.

My excuse for the faff is to:

1) See what works
2) Give me choice of operating levels: 1) Basic quickie, 2) a bit more serious-explore more of SDR Console, and 3) learn more about DX Labs.

In a few weeks I might change it up to head in a different learning/curiosity direction.

I have a sequence of apps the solves my External Radio tracking conundrum.

Attached is a Word document that provides the sequence of opening the following options in a sequence that works:

Win4Icom (Icom IC-7100) with the RSPdx. Use just the Win Spectrum Scope
Win4Icom with SDR Console and RSPdx ...

I've found a counter-intuitive solution. If I start SDR Console first, wait a few seconds, and then start Win4Icom, both Rig 1 and Rig 2 in Omniricg with track the Console's External Radio (my IC-7100). I'm not sure why that sequence works and the Win4Icom open first sequence does not.
