Hi everyone, I'm having a strange situation with SDR Console. If I set the direct sampling rate to 192 kHz, when I open the SDR Console software, the sound card switches to 48 kHz and the microphone crackles, making it difficult to hear. The sound card is an ANTELOPE ZEN GO. I've tried other software like Thetis, Sun SDR, and Power SDR, and it works fine and maintains the sampling rate. I'm wondering if there's an option in the SDR Console software that lets me set the direct sampling rate to my liking... otherwise, what can I do?
I've uninstalled SDR Console and the sound card drivers, but nothing works.
I set it to 192 kHz, and SDR Console switches to 48 kHz!! And with this sampling rate, the microphone is difficult to hear. Thanks.

It sounds like you are trying to set the sound card to 192k and then connect to it with SDRConsole. I'd look for a way to set it with SDRConsole. The help files on https://www.sdr-radio.com/ might show you how. SDRConsole overrides sample rates that were set in front end interfaces to which it connects.

Hi, I've already tried virtual cables but it works for a while then when I reboot it sets the card to 48 khz and the audio comes out badly!!!

I'm confused by your terminology? Can we get a handle on whether we are talking about the SDR sample rate set in the radio control panel of SDRC for your particular radio, or the soundcard sampling rate on the PC. They should be totally independent of each other. Which SDR are you running?Alessandro555 wrote: Tue Apr 28, 2026 10:50 pm I've uninstalled SDR Console and the sound card drivers, but nothing works.

Setting the SDR hardware bandwidth/sampling rate should have no bearing at all on the soundcard sampling rate. All of the settings for the sample rate on the soundcard for inputs and outputs to SDRC should be set to 48kHz. SDRC is designed around this. On the mic input it's essential that the samping rate is 48kHz or it can upset the input sampling on SDRC. This even affects whether Tune/Tone works at all on the SDRC TX DSP panel.
Maybe post some screenshots of exactly what it is you are trying to set so that we can fully understand what it is that you are having issues with?
