Hello,

that would be really great if the new hardware feature for 2nd TX/RX could be used. I'm new to the Pluto, bought my one 2 weeks ago and have now the board up and running with external clock, receiving QO-100. Using the provided U.FL plugs and setting the firmware variables no soldering was needed to use an external clock.
I believe all Adalm Plutos which are sold currently by Digikey are labeled outside 'Rev C' and inside on the board 'Rev D' and have the nice external clock feature and the second TX/RX on board.

BR,
Mark

You can already work split band in full duplex, so I don't see the need for this 2nd TX/RX support.

You'll have to convince me about this.

Hi,

I'm using Pluto+, which has RX2/TX2 nicely preinstalled, in addition to an ipx connector for an external clock. The spacey aluminum box easily housed an additional SMA for that too.

SDR Console works really well through the onboard Gigabit Ethernet, detecting the radio automatically.

QO100 is flawless, also thanks for the quaint telemetry beacon synchronization.

Instead of buying a 2nd Pluto+, I'd like to use RX2/TX2 for other than QO100 purposes while connecting a 2nd pair of eg. 2m or 70cm antennae.

Long story short, would this be enough reasoning for RX2/TX2 support 😊

Kind regards,
Pasi OH2TWI

It would be a lot of work; I would also expect the two sets of LOs to interact.

At present this isn't planned.
