Firstly defintiely download and use the latest Beta v3.4.4O4A wrote: Sat Apr 25, 2026 7:16 pm when I start radio, after less than one second on RX it switches to TX. Output is real, measured on my external W-meter. It happens both in CW and SSB modes. If I quickly to to settings of radio and disable its PA, RF stops, but radio is still PTT-ed. If I leave PA off and restart radio, it is PTT-ed and there is no RX (but this short period of time right after start).
I had the most recent v3.4 beta version, but it happens also on v3.3.
v3.3 is ancient in terms of the updates that have taken place and should definitely not be used anymore. There is no advantage at all to using 3.3.
If yoiur HL2 is immedialtey going into TX that almost certainly indicates a hardware issue. The very first thing to do to test this is to remove any plug in the 3.5mm Key/PTT socket of the HL2 the re-test. I would be fairly certain that if yiou do this the issue goes away, in which case it is down to your wiring of that plug. Try that first and see what happens.
See the correct use of the Key/PTT socket here - scroll down page for Key PTT info:

Lastly on your screenshot, unfortunately no use at all. Do not crop screenshots at all, show the full window including all borders as there is useful info that you have clipped. Particularly you are not showing the TX DSP panel (the one with the audio input settings on it). Actually my mistake...... you don't seem to have the TX DSP panel enabled at all. You might not have CW mode enabled for TX at all. Hard to say without seeing the panel. Run the HL2, then go to the Transmit tab (top of screen) and then select "DSP" on extreme left hand side of ribbon bar, then re-submit the screenshot in the "fault" condition.
But before any of that, remove 3.5mm Key/PTT plug from HL2 and re-test. I am fairly sure that is where your issue is.
