Re-Opening Program

Hi,
Am I correct that upon closing the program, and re-opening it, the positions, and geometry of the various windows, etc. should come exactly back ?
Any caveats ?
Or, is there something that has to be done (first) to enable this ?
Thanks,
Bob

Full size uncropped pictures that show what is not happening correctly might make answering your question a little easier. Anything else invites smartassed responses like this out of frustration.

Yes, that's what should happen. If not then there's a lack of privileges to write to the registry using your Windows account (normal procedure).

I'm not convinced that the MFC architecture manages to catch all strange things people might do. And with the likes of SDRSharp I've caught it moving the window to the left a pixel or two every time it is opened. But that is (was?) an artifact of the Telerik stuff he uses. In my own playing I think I have noticed a way to get a pane opened then closed and subsequently not have it reopen in the spot it was in after the program is restarted.
Anyway - that is why I figured full size uncropped before and after pictures may be called for. His message does not explicitly state how much was different after the restart. Tiny differences can annoy some people and not others. A big set of difference would mean something more serious.
(Er how can he not have privileges to write to the per user registry entries?)
