AM mode audio oscilloscope display still borked

Does not display symmetrically in AM mode, but does properly in all other modes.
Could it be from the SSB signal that is located just above the AM BC station?
I just noticed that the 40M Ham Band displayed is valid for IARU Region 1, but here in USA, we are IARU 2 where we get another 100 kHz:

Where are you located that you hear Radio China International so strong?
