It's all about the Software

Hi,
I'm using a funcube dongle pro+ I've bought a new desktop recently, I didn't have any problem
running SDR Consul but since the new PC the programme keeps locking up every miute?

I've checked up all updates but it keeps doing this?
Has anyone an idea what is going wrong?

Try a usb hub with an external powersupply that gives enough power to run USB SDR's.
And/or look in the PC's BIOS if it has an option to give more power (amps) to USB devices... or if it is sharing power with other devices on the same bus.
