Edited SpectraVue .wav File Cannot be Played Back

I used SDRConsole to snip a 10 second portion of an I-Q file recorded by SpectraVue.
However, the snipped file does not playback in SpectraVue - an error window pops up "Input file not valid". The new snipped file does playback in SDRConsole.
