RDS - separate databases for each instance

I need to have a separate RDSdatabase for each identity I run. As it is set up, whether I open Main or Ident1 the default database rdsdatabase.sqlite opens up.
It is slightly more complicated than that. If I create a database - rdsdatabase_001 for Ident1, and later close down - when I re-start SDRC in Main - it uses the ...001
database.
So - I can open Main with rdsdatabase.sqlite as the default. Then open Ident1 and point it to rdsdatebase_001, the two instances will run with the separate databases. It appears that when closing down SDR Console, whichever instance is the last one closed - that is the rdsdatabase that will selected next time round by Main and ident1.
What is needed is that each ident uses its own database independently - and I know my explanation doesn't read very well.
