No Audio ? Most Likely Reason ?

Hello,
That old-age problem again, probably.
Have downloaded and installed version. 3.2.
The Icom R8600 white light goes on showing it is
talking to Console, and that Console now has control.
The program looks like it is doing
what it is supposed to.
But, absolutely no audio. Totally dead.
Have clicked the "Unmute All" box.
Haven't used program in quite a while, and am stumped.
Before I bother Simon with screen shots and logs, is there
something pretty obvious that I should check ?
What is the "most likely" cause ?
Probably something very simple that I am missing.
