Win11 xmit audio drops. Help please

I used win7 for the longest time. Everything worked fine. I had to replace my pc and it came with win11 installed. I am new to win11.
Here is my issue: Radio on, SDR console running. VAC's are in place. wjst running. Everything works fine at that point. I can work all the stations i want UNTIL I decide to multitask and open a chrome (or Brave) browser and then it appears that my audio from wjsy to sdr via the vac's drop out and I have zero watts out. I have to close all and reboot.
What am I missing????
