Expose squelch to hotkeys/MIDI

Hello! I've seen that hotkeys can be custom mapped and that there is also MIDI support for external control. Great! I'd like to be able to expose the FM squelch on the currently selected rx to the keyboard or an external controller. I was thinking the following functions could be exposed:
- Squelch: FM - Enable
- Squelch: FM - Auto button press
- Squelch: FM - Level slider (hotkey up/down or volume control for MIDI)
AM/SSB squelch enable and level could also be handy but my primary use case for squelch is NFM as I have to adjust level periodically due to local noise conditions.
