"Freeze" external radio tracking on transmit

This is the scenario: I'm using an IC705 for transmit/receive on Es'Hail-2. I have a Lime SDR attached as an external radio to enable me to monitor my transmit signal via the satellite as required. The Lime tracks the Icom OK.
However, my transmit configuration requires a 1.5MHz offset, which I do by using "duplex" on the Icom. So, when I switch to transmit the Lime tracks the Icom and offsets its receive frequency by the 1.5MHz shift, which stops me monitoring the transmit signal via the satellite.
My current workaround is that when I want to transmit I manually disable tracking in the External Radio window. Would it be possible to add an option to "freeze" tracking when the external radio goes to transmit?
