Is there a way to add other speeds into the drop down list of speeds, or is there a tweek to a config file I need to use 1200bd on the serial port as my controller needs that speed?

Which serial port? If you mean control of External Radio then the port is handled by OmniRig and therefore you set the required speed in Omnirig in the usual way.

If you mean the serial ports to connect to logging/digimodes etc.etc. then at top of screen select "Tools" tab, then "Options" then see the linked picture for speed settings:

Select the required port then change the speed in the dropdown at the top. 1200 is already in there (and also in Omnirig)
