Quick Memories: Side Pane?

As posted to the IO group a little while back, but putting it here in case it gets lost....
I have used the Memories a lot more recently, for example to put beacon frequencies in, or for using as a scratchpad during openings.
I find it's better than Favourites as by clicking on them you retain the current span, waterfall and other settings. It's also better for display of Memories on the spectrum as markers, so only needing to maintain one list.
Limiting factor is the display of memories along the top and the usability factor of clicking individual banks of 5 etc, and the way they are accessed and so on.
It would much improve the useability of Memories if we were able to have a side pane of them, and having the choice of docking them or putting them elsewhere on the screen, in the same manner as Favourites.
