Hi all
I have set up a server. When I log in to the server to listen, it may be a problem with the network speed. The waterfall chart often stops and then resumes in an instant, and the audio is the same. I have set the bandwidth to 30K. The problem has not been solved. In addition to improving the network speed, is there any other way to improve this problem? On websdr, there are similar problems. I have improved the pause phenomenon by recording and then playing it back. In the SDRC software, I don’t think there is a big change. Thanks.

Sounds primarily to be network speed. Also, does WiFi form any part of the network in the chain? This can often be problematic. Maybe if you could more fully describe the whole network path from server to client? Also is everything all at same location or remote?

As Max stated, the use of WiFi on the remote site end is paramount.
What version are you running? Long ago, Simon did an extensive upgrade to the server features that (for me) eliminated stuttering, even on a WiFi link. My servers are all hardwired to the ISP routers, so not an issue for me. But if I am using a hotel's WiFi while on the road, I may be limited to ~100kHz bandwidth like I was yesterday in a hotel.
In the Network tab of the server manager, do you have the compression turned on? This will save you 50% bandwidth to be streamed on the uplink. What do you get for a speed test of the ISP?
On the client end, there are some settings that may help too. Go to Settings, Options in the ribbon bar. Super Station #1 (where I am currently seated) has been set up for minimum latency. There is a default setting for reduced stuttering (small circle):
