Audio Buffer Sizes Changing TX Audio Tails

Hi all ..
First of all ...I love this software...
However i do have a problem in conjunction with my USB Audio card and ...my SDRPlay RSPDx R2 ...
It seems as if the audio buffer sizes vary ...so I mute the audio on TX and reduce the IQ by the full amount.
A lot of the time I get a chink noise as my PTT lifts..
However sometimes I get a delayed repeat of my outgoing audio. Seems like the buffer sizes sometimes go high? ....
It doesn't seem to happen in other software like UNO or HDSDR ... although you can't reduce the IQ gain so...not so nice to look at .. I do have an SDRSwitch AND a front end protector (a really good one) and my SDR is still super sensitive.
However that high latency audio is really off putting
I have bought a much more powerful machine in the hope of the latency coming down as I believe WASAPI is dynamic and the audio latency reading seem to show this...with them reading 22ms or below ...clink from the PTT id they are 40 plus ms I get a big audio tail off ...which is clearly not 42ms....
Any tips ..
I'd have preferred ASIO...
Fixing buffer sizes would be ace.
