These forums use phpBB which is quite probably the most commonly used forum software software available today. It benefits from a professional approach to development and is very easy to install. On a new Windows installation you can be up and running in less than 30 minutes if you can follow instructions.

Compression is enabled, as this is primarily a text-based board the network bandwidth is greatly reduced.
The NUC also runs the V3 On-Air service and my own remote server.

- Port 8080 for web services (default is 80)
- Port 4499 for for secure web browser communication. The default is 443, IIS and Apache cannot both use port 443.
