These forums use phpBB which is quite probably the most commonly used forum software software available today. It benefits from a professional approach to development and is very easy to install. On a new Windows installation you can be up and running in less than 30 minutes if you can follow instructions.

Hardware Intel i5-7250U NUC
Operating System Windows 10
Web Server Apache (XAMPP)
Internet Residential 60 Mbps down, 20 Msps up

The NUC runs IIS and Apache which can co-exist. IIS was already installed when the decision was made to run phpBB, as a result the Apache installation uses:
  • Port 8080 for web services (default is 80)
  • Port 4499 for for secure web browser communication. The default is 443, IIS and Apache cannot both use port 443.
When you enter the URL https://forum.sdr-radio.com a URL redirect to is performed by IIS to https://forum.sdr-radio.com:8080. Many browsers show https://forum.sdr-radio.com:4499 in the address bar, this indicates an alternate port in use for secure web browser communication.

Other
Compression is enabled, as this is primarily a text-based board the network bandwidth is greatly reduced.
The NUC also runs the V3 On-Air service and my own remote server.

Full backup of folders and files: daily at 3AM.

All copied to the Cloud using OneDrive.

Autostart
Both Apache and MySQL should now start when the computer reboots for whatever reason.

Tested - and it works (rebooted the NUC).

Shaun,

Suggest you start a thread in the appropriate sub-forum, as it's off-topic for this thread 🙂

"HOWEVER SDRConsole won't start."
As in SDR Console does not boot up properly, or when you press "Start" on the GUI (Starts the previously used radio, if there was one), the SDR doe not start?
Did you select your SDR from the definitions?
After installing the latest drivers, did you delete and make a new definition for the RSP-DX? (My best guess without further info)

Screen shots please...
