My issue: When using the frequency database and using the tracking function, each time I change the frequency, I need to click the width column as the right most column go off screen.

Any fix to maintain the width between frequency selections?

I realize I could scroll and display right columns , but them left are off screen.

I can adjust column width smaller to get all on screen, but next freq change resets width to defaults, right columns off screen again

As far as I can see, when you change frequency, the columns auto-adjust to fit the longest text in the columns, from left to right, hence right columns can get pushed off screen. If you then adjust frequency to display and the text happens to be shorter, the columns stay the same, unless you push "Width" to auto-fit them back down in size again. If on the selected frequency stations info text is longer, then once again it pushes the columns out further. As far as I can see there is no way to rigidly fix the column width to a set position.

The "width" button will "autofit" the text that is displayed in the columns on a case by case basis? Also it resets the display to show the columns selected (ticked in list) as chosen in the three-dot menu dialogue if, that is, in the meantime you have dragged out some columns to reveal the "unticked" columns.

I guess what I am saying is that I think you are just seeing expected behaviour? I don't see a way to anchor the columns to a set width. Perhaps others know different?

As an aside Dan, did you ever take a look at CSV User List Browser? It works very well with SDRC and to me it was a revelation, put on to it by another user here "rmrrgs" (Bob):

95% of the time (maybe more) does not just give you a list of possible stations, but accurately identifies the exact station, as it can (optionally) automatically filter the displayed station list for time of day (amongst a load of other excellent functions) and tracks frequency of SDRC or vice versa. Also auto-imports up to date lists from all the well-known sources without the need for manual upload, although you can manually add lists too if you wish, like Dan Ferguson's excellent SWBC combined schedules list.

Anyway, just thought I would mention in case you were not aware.

thanks for the response. I was hoping there was a way to fix my issue, perhaps it would require a code change to do what I would like.

Hi Dan

This video is very good to show setup and use of CSVUB, although the start pertains to SDR Uno the set up of CSVUB is exactly the same and interface with the COM ports is straightforward with SDRC once you get going:


Skip straight to 10 mins 30 secs to get a flavour of the capabilities of the program. Honestly, once you have got it set up you will be very impressed!
