Re: Screenshot bug with second monitor
Same here. I've just been taking comparative screenshots of the same signal on a Perseus (screen 1) and RX-888 (screen 2) using v26: no problems. Switched to v27 to do the same thing with an RX-888MkII on screen 2 and all I can get from either is a screenshot of the desktop on screen 1 (not just the...

Re: Frequencies in I/Q recording are ~5.128 kHz low
Hi Simon, Is this a good time to bring up another display / recording quirk? When you set a center frequency for a recording and press the >l< button when an offset mode such as CW-U, LSB or Wide-U is in use, the display is centred on the middle of the bandwith filter, not the selected frequency. Th...

Re: New firmware for RX-888
Hi Simon,
Only the very strongest signals show up in the SW bands, nothing at all in the MW band - see attached.

Dave

New firmware for RX-888
For anyone interested, Franco Venturi has just released a new test firmware for the RX-888 on the other forum: https://groups.io/g/NextGenSDRs/message/215?reply=1 Out of curiosity I renamed it to BBRF103_SE as before, and it works very well in SDRC, with crash-free stop-starts and bandwidth changes ...

Re: 1.0.14, Nov. 9th 2020 - Released
Hi Simon,
In 1.0.14 the night shading stays fixed at the current time and only the greyline indicator moves when the clock offset slider is moved. Is this by accident or by design?
Regards,
Dave

Re: Calibration
The software option in SDRC is under Radio - Options in the LH panel. AM, CW, ECSS or DSB modes are all ok if you use the carrier of a standard frequency station as the reference, as they all show a line to fix over the centre of the signal.

Re: SDRC Crashes with RX888 under Windows7
Hi Pete, Many thanks indeed - your solution works a treat!! All I had to do was copy over the .img file and rename it (to BBRF103_SE.img), and rename the existing definition to RX-888, and it was up and running at 32 MHz. I don't know why the radio should need a different firmware image to be loaded...

Re: SDRC Crashes with RX888 under Windows7
Some more to add. Yesterday, I tried it on my wife's PC: it also runs Win7x64, and the results were just the same as on mine - the RX-888 works perfectly under HDSDR and SDR Sharper, but SDRC crashed soon after the search for the radio started (I think it actually finds the radio ok, but crashes as ...

SDRC Crashes with RX888 under Windows7
I received an RX888 yesterday and hit a problem with SDRC in that it crashes when initially searching for the radio at the "Select Radio - Definitions" stage; this is on my main PC (AMD R9 3900X / 32GB / RTX2070) under Win7x64. However, the radio runs perfectly on this PC under HDSDR and SDR Sharper...
