Re: Serveur SDR-CONSOLE
I have the same issue at my lake condo. The ISP provides a modem to go from coax to Ethernet, but I bought a router from Walmart (not sure of manufacture and model number). I cannot access my own equipment from within the LAN. I have a remote IC-7300 on Remotehams.com's RCForb software and an Airspy...

Re: Isn't this just grand?
Laptop, SDR, and Youloop was a bust, but must have made the neighbors think I was off my medication though!
Will have to pull out the 1m active loop and see if it will hear it. Just a bit of a pain in the arse with all the cables, battery for pre-amp, etc.

Re: SDR server manager
Joanne,
I have the same issue with my remote Icom 7300's, and 7100's. All are open to the public for RX (remotehams.com's RCForb Servers), but TX is registered users only. I was in the middle of a QSO when some dipshit spun the VFO on me... 2X. Apparently some do not listen before acting.

Re: Serveur SDR-CONSOLE
Sounds like a firewall issue at your friends router if all five PC's cannot connect. Drop the firewall in the router, or lower the securty level and see what happens.

Isn't this just grand?
This QRM appeared within the last few days on all my servers at the QTH, worst is on Super Station #2, which was my best system. Starts at 1800kHz to about 2900kHz and again at 4050kHz to 4750kHz. Heading out with the Youloop and AirspyHF+ to track it down or at least get a bearing on it now....

Re: SDR server manager
Unlike the WebSDR or KiwiSDR's, SDR Console server allows only one radio per user. You can connect more than one SDR to a server, but still only one user gets use of the SDR. SDRC is WAY more powerful than the simplistic GUI of WebSDR and KiwiSDR. If you just want to listen to HF, those two are fine...

KA1GJU@PCARC Server is cured!
Had a bad case of Sciurus carolinensis or Tamiasciurus hudsonicus! Grey squirrel or Red squirrel decided to chew on the insulation, and wires of the antenna about 4' from the 9:1 unun. Both ends were stripped about 2" so I wrapped the two back together and taped. I formed a loop and attached a ...

Re: SDR console and RTL dongle
Be mindful that Raspberry Pi's can be great transmitters... of HF QRM from the unshielded computer and the cheap switching power supply. I have one in the attic for an ADSB RXR and had to use FT240-31 ferrite cores on the Ethernet cable and power cable to tame the QRM. It still generates noise, but ...

Re: RSP1A Crash at 8 MHz Bandwidth
How about sharing some PC information as to the system's OS, hardware , etc. From the ribbon bar across the top, click on "Tools", then "DirectX Diagnostics", "Save All Information", and then attach the text file "DxDiag.txt". That will save you lots of typing...

Re: Super Station #1 Antenna is bad?
All complete, ~50 feet vertical and remaining +100 feet is flat top (inverted L config). Similar WWV reception on 15MHz to PCARC, Super stations #2 and #3.
