Re: AirSpy Hf+ Discovery audio issue

A screen shot with the DSP panel displayed would help! But you may want to see if the DSP AGC is ON, not OFF. The AGC can be slow, medium, or fast.... but make sure it’s ON and not OFF. See “Audio Question” on this forum down below,I have a screen shot of what to look for. I’m on an IPad, and away f...

Re: Mouse wheel zooming & frequency marker positioning

No window asking for a frequency here (HP Pavillion Notebook i5) with an external USB mouse with scroll wheel on top.

Re: AM reception problem

Turn on the AGC! The one in the DSP panel. You don’t use your ‘old school’ HF rig with he AGC off? If you did, the strong signals would be distorted too. Typically I use RF gain of 5 to 7, -30 or -35 of Manual (not automatic) IF gain an 10 to 15 dab visual gain. With IF gain in automatic, the AGC pu...

Re: Need help to get things working

Email sent yesterday... on the road for next 24 hrs, with only my company provided IPad. Has TeamViewer, but the use of it on an IPad is next to impossible... at least for me.

Re: Server Map

No, no yet.... maybe this year? One can only hope!

Ver 1.5 had it long ago, back in the day. Was a nice and quick way to choose a server by location, since the names can be very misleading due to no ‘real’ callsign to look up.

Re: Server Logs

10mB up is the bottle neck, anyone using the SDR’s to monitor FM BC or 2M FM are going to use max bandwidth ther server can provide. I find most HF users running only 30 kHz, especially if overseas. Maybe their download BW is too expensive? Use the compression option in the network tab, that will sa...

Re: Server Logs

Tested this AM (71.161.222.46 Enosburg Falls, Vermont, 05450, United States) on both SDR's The FDM-S2 cannot be operated on max bandwidth (768 kHz) without momentary pauses every two seconds or so. Lower bandwidths are good. The RTL-SDR was rather deaf on FM (and off frequency), but suddenly the sig...

Re: Server Logs

I’m out flying today, but home after midnight. I will build some definitions in the AM and give them a workout and let you know if they are working 100%.

Servers may be down or intermittent today!

Severe wind storm here in New England, power out 1530z. Currently on 20KW diesel generator with all servers powered up. I even took some screen shots while the neighborhood was powered down to compare when it returns! No more electric fence noise from the three farms nearby for the time being too. W...
