Re: Waterfall differences between 3.2 and 3.3 console version using RTL-SDR Dongle

I note that you have different settings for the FFT. Your line rates and other settings (lower right of waterfall area) show the different settings. Fiddle with them to get them the same if possible and see what happens. It looks like with 3.3 you've picked up some problems. Let's try to make all t...

Re: Waterfall differences between 3.2 and 3.3 console version using RTL-SDR Dongle

Hi Simon, there are some waterfall differences between sdrconsole 3.2 and 3.3 version, viewing the same signal, using an RTL-SDR V3 dongle on USB, at 250 & 300 kHz bandwidth. Some screen shots, with the same configurations 73 Rocco IK8XLD Hi, Look at the Radio Configuration, show me the screens...

Re: LNB Local Oscillator offset

Hi Simon,
These are the specifications of a typical C-band LNB.

OL - IN = IF
5150-3400=1750
5150-4200=950

In this case spectrum is inverted.
It is a down converter
it would probably be enough to allow the negative sign in the RX OFFSET field in converter definition

Re: 3.3 build 2870 - Waterfall "noise" while adjusting the brightness/contrast

To make clear that the waterfall problem is not related to CPU/GPU load, I borrowed the NVIDIA 1050ti card from my son's computer. I also enabled NVIDIA CUDA. I did the same test getting very low CPU/GPU values but unfortunately I keep getting the waterfall freezing while adjusting the contrast. Set...

Re: 3.3 build 2870 - Waterfall "noise" while adjusting the brightness/contrast

Thanks Kriss & Max for the replies, unfortunately it is not the GPU or CPU load that is causing this problem . It must be considered that during normal operation (without video recording, active in the last video) the load drops to 5.2% CPU & 36.6 GPU. The CPU is an I7 4770 3.4 GHz with 8GB ...

Re: 3.3 build 2870 - Waterfall "noise" while adjusting the brightness/contrast

Hi,
I have a similar problem with the last two betas.
By varying the contrast the waterfall freezes
With 3.2 it didn't happen
