I have been, very unsuccessfull, in trying to get Fldigi to work. Any hints tips or setup advice would be welcomed

I have been using two browsers, "Brave" and chrome. Neither one shows up in sound>mixer>apps but Brave browser does NOT take over like chrome does. Any opinions?

SDR-Console, wjst, VAC.
Everything ran fine on win-7, ran fine on win-10....Win-11 I have nightmares. I have "a high school science project" going on here with my audio settings. What works one day, does not work the next. Any setup help would be appreciated.
