Re: Trying to suppress this noise...Any ideas?
Actually John your noise situation looks pretty good. You seem to have a basic background noise around S2-S3 (though gain settings and meaningful S point readings can be tricky with SDR Play receivers). But overall it looks good. Here in the UK many people in urban areas complain of S8++ constant no...

Re: Silly question maybe..scrolling changing frequency and the tx or rx dsp window also scrolls
So Simon....... (Mag Loop Simon that is) I think I may be getting a small idea of what is going on (or part of it). I think it may be related to an issue I have with changing frequency using the keyboard arrow (cursor) keys. I don't use mouse scroll wheel. In fact I don't even have a mouse, but bear...

Re: Trying to suppress this noise...Any ideas?
Hi John Difficult one. Screenshots always help and receiver (hardware) details, antenna, location etc etc. I guess you have a high noise level where you are? Although, to be honest HF is always noisy to some degree, is it not? Of all the NRs on SDRC I personally find the most effective with the leas...

Re: Trying to suppress this noise...Any ideas?
Hi John
Sounds to me like you might have one of the Noise Reduction settings selected in error in the RX DSP panel. It' a possibility anyway. See attached pic. If any on, try all off.

Re: Noise And "Wall Warts" ?
I've got two of these. They are excellent and very RF quiet, which is why I bought a second one: https://www.cyberpower.com/global/en/product/sku/cp1500epfclcd Saw it recommended on some radio forum (sorry can't remember where) and it has not disappointed, for me using mostly HF frequencies at any r...

Re: Airspy R2 Bias-T function
Hi Glenn I don't have R2/Spyverter but according to this YouTube video it's in the usually expected place on Home tab of the Ribbon Bar? See button top left about 1/4 way along ribbon bar in "Radio" section (play video full screen to see). Also see attached picture. Assume it's still there...

Re: Noise And "Wall Warts" ?
Hi Bob At risk of sounding repetitive (I've mentioned it in quite a few interference threads) I had something very similar, at about same frequency, and it turned out to be my UPS sitting right in under the computer desk. I had not really suspected that even though I had done tracking exercises befo...

Re: Help with tx latency elad duo
Not sure what is considered reasonable but I have a 10 years old plus i7 desktop PC and just ran it with one receiver. I am seeing CPU load around 0.8%. GPU 3.5%. Audio around 20 ms. HOWEVER I do have GTX 1650 Super GPU (excellent - highly recommended) enabled for CUDA. At the very least I would get...
