Re: ISS pass prediction differs SDRC-PstRotator
Simon, as you know I have been a long time supporter of your software. Going back to the early days of HRD, moderating a section in the old HRD forum, still moderating the GroupsIo SDRC group, and a member of the test teams going back to beta testing of DM780 . Until my retirement, I was a regular c...

Re: ISS pass prediction differs SDRC-PstRotator
Kriss, I am not sure how Heavens Above's listed times differ based on my actual location as I see no place on their site to provide my coordinates. However, they cite AOS of 17:40 today. SDRC cites 17:36 and PstRotator cites 17:43

The

attachment shows the PstRotator on the left and SDRC on the right. Note the LOS/AOS time difference. I'll check the source for the keps.

ISS pass prediction differs SDRC-PstRotator
I notice that there is a 5-6 minute difference in the ISS AOS/LOS times between satellite tracker in SDRC versus the prediction in PstRotator. Both applications have the exact Lon/Lat . Any ideas on how to resolve this? As far as I can tell, the keps are updated for both applications. I'm not sure w...

Re: Linking SDRC to PstRotator ?
Well, it looks like I have done it, sort of. Lars helped me out with some basic concepts that I had to think about. I wanted to control the 705 and using SDRC's satellite tracker but ONLY using the 705, ignoring my SDRplay Duo. Just using the "external radio" capability of SDRC. It seems t...

Linking SDRC to PstRotator ?
Ok, thanks to info from Lars I have PstRotator . SDRC and PstR are simultaneously with my IC-705 via OmniRig , however, I would like to have both SDRC and PstR recognize each other. I have SDR-Radio selected in the tracker section of PstRotator but in several places within PstR I am told that CAT wi...

Re: IC-705
Lars, since I would not need to control an antenna rotator, will PstRotator work with just the 705 ? I see there is a 20 Euro fee , so just want to make sure before I pay and download .

Re: IC-705
Thanks, Lars, that is VERY good information. It makes sense when I think about the whole concept of SDRC is for a SDR device to also be involved. I will try it both ways, as you suggest for SDRC and I will also look for PstRotator . I'm not getting into satellites in a big way, just some casual trac...

Re: IC-705
Lars, can you check your 705 with SDR-Radio Console satellite tracking? With my 705 I am not getting both uplink and downlink frequencies sent to the 705. VFO B does not change.
