Re: V3.3

No release announcement on the forum of the new 3.3 beta build? Anyway works smoothly for me. I only wish i could see what my custom logistic window function looks like for the waterfall display, instead of hamming/blackman/etc. The logistic window function specification is as follows: Rounding up t...

I am mostly riding his coattails for credibility but you can trust that it really does work.

Re: Cleanup 1.0.1

Is it me or does this post sound fishy? No call sign, no real name, and just a link to a github page. Ah, no thanks. Kriss KA1GJU Not only do I not have a callsign, I am a 4chan user and all around smelly degenerate. I won’t say I despise licensed amateur radio users but i will say that people who ...

Cleanup denoiser

We've come a long way from my efforts one year ago, and this time, we have something solid! Crosspost from next gen SDR mailing list- an experiment of research between Oscar Steila and myself. This beats your current denoising algorithm. If any of you are brave and adventurous, instructions on how t...

Re: V3.2 Release Notes

Oh yea! FANTASTIC release Simon! I am PUMPED for the future of SDR. Nothing gets me hot like optimized decimation code, too- I am absolutely going to play with the fractional decimator a bunch. This is a feature that a lot or practically most SDR software simply do not have and only goes further to ...

SDR-Console Server bug

Simon brown! A long time ago I owned a perseus and discovered changing the visual gain would also effect the DSP. We fixed that bug. Now, in an effort to reduce noise, I bought a mac mini 7,1 and put windows and SDR-Console on it. I set it up as "server" with my airspy discovery attached. ...

Re: bayesian inference noise reduction implementation

If you want to be nice, either compliment my work or make useful contributions, which means you could do some work. Any attempts to represent problems frequently encountered by people who have designed things like this before misses the mark, which is to get something done, not stand around all day ...

Re: bayesian inference noise reduction implementation

@jdow : see latest post update. I now have it running near RTOS levels, high amounts of inline JIT compiling, some C for the buffer. No, nothing blocks. I simply sample by one frame at a time and write by one frame at a time. The devices use async callback functions so they ask for data and decide o...
