Re: VAC connection instructions
Here's a link to a commonly used Virtual Serial Port: http://k5fr.com/DDUtilV3wiki/index.php?title=VSP_Manager Thanks Jim, I've bookmarked that site in case I can't get VAC working. I have an old copy that I bought a few years ago from use with HRD, for some reason I don't remember now, but must ha...

Re: Searching the website
Lack of search is down to the website engine - duda.co . I could add search but it would cost me ~$100/month. I run on low revenues, especially since COVID for some reason, so $100 is considerable. OK Simon, No problem. Max located what I was looking for. I must have stumbled over it randomly searc...

Searching the website
This isn't about the Forum per se, but I couldn't see anywhere else to ask. I can search the forum for key words, but I can't see a way to do that on the website. For instance, in my search for Virtual Audio Cable information (I still can't find it and I'm sure there was a link to two sources of VAC...

Re: IC-9700
However, going back to my original question. Can SDR-Radio get I/Q data from the IC-9700?

Re: IC-9700
It wasn't even that. After a game of "close that, open that, close that" I found out that the RTL-Dongle had stopped working. I changed the RTL bandwidth, so it started working again, and closed and then re-opened SDR-Radio and it worked again. The problem is that I'm trying to use two rad...

Re: IC-9700
However, I have completely confused SDR-Radio now. The display says 50.313MHz in one part and 1296MHz in another.

Re: IC-9700
I found out why SDR-Radio would not reconnect to the 7300. I had another program (WSJT-X) running that was using the COM port.
I'm on another steep learning curve. LOL.

Re: IC-9700
I tried removing the 9700 from "RIG2" in Omni-Rig but the display still shows the 9700 display.
