Re: SDR Console Freezing
What model radio are you using? If by chance you are using an SDRPlay radio, there is a Windows service called "SDRPlay API Service" that comes from SDRUno which SDR Console depends on. The current version of this is 3.14. I would make sure this service is the current version. I think you ...

Re: RSP1A Crash at 8 MHz Bandwidth
The API is 3.14. I remember awhile back an issue with crashes on an earlier API version but that was at any bandwidth. Though Max interesting your CPU is so low. I do not have GPU video processing given the type of video card in my laptop. I wonder if you could recreate running everything on the CPU...

Re: RSP1A Crash at 8 MHz Bandwidth
Max & Kriss: Attached is the DxDiag.txt with machine info. I did a little investigating. So when SDRC crashes, it says "Please Wait" and when this happens I kill SDRC. Apparently it is trying to create a crash dump. I recreated the problem and let the process complete but it takes a re...

Re: RSP1A Crash at 8 MHz Bandwidth
Yep. Build 3236. This has been a problem on earlier betas too. Not exactly sure when I first noticed this. Many months ago, at least. And whenever a new release or beta comes out, I always install it. Also, I have not tested this on other bandwidths though I suspect 10 MHz or 7 MHz would probably ge...

RSP1A Crash at 8 MHz Bandwidth
I'm observing SDRC crashing when using 8 MHz bandwidth. This has been a long running problem I've never reported because I seldom use more than 2 MHz of bandwidth and the crashing at 8 MHz of bandwidth is at random times. Though there may be a loose correlation between a crash and switching frequenc...

Re: AM stereo?
Speaking of Binaural, it would also be nice if noise reduction worked when Binaural is engaged. I've mentioned this before. I'm just posting on this again to be a nag. :) AM Stereo would be nice as well but not too many stations broadcast in it which is sad. But when it was more widely used it was p...

Re: Asymmetrical Filter Use on FM Broadcast
The theory that underlies your suggestion and the techniques involved I do not fully understand. In the US, the trouble is that not every station broadcasts digital side bands. This is actually not trouble but rather a blessing because you can at least dig out weak stations on some frequencies that ...

Asymmetrical Filter Use on FM Broadcast
In the US, digital radio is accomplished by broadcasting the data on the upper portion of the lower adjacent channel and also on the lower portion of the higher adjacent channel. This poses a problem where if a station is present on either adjacent channel, there is interference from the digital sig...

Re: NR4 & Miscellaneous
To Max, I could see how "Windows rules" might be an issue. For instance, when the Frequency Database is open, rhetorically, what is supposed to happen when the mouse is over that window? Should it move the Frequency Database window or change frequency? And there may be other issues like th...

NR4 & Miscellaneous
First a big thank you to Simon for fixing NR4! While I had a workaround for this using Favorites, it is still VERY NICE to now switch modes and not have NR4 warble. I've been testing this fix and find no issues and frankly it makes shortwave listening a little more fun. I've reported this before but...
