There were rats, rats, big as bloody cats, In the Quartermaster's store. [Chorus] My eyes are dim, I cannot see, I have not ...

Re: How to know if SAM mode is locked and what the offset is?

Hi , i guessed that was what you were really asking (why does not the software do it) , but if anyone else needed to know how the rough basic way is there :) and these days on SW/AM frequency accuracy is pretty good as i cannot recall one being off frequency for a very long time (i do a lot of VFO s...

Re: mode AM instead of mode SAM

I only found out a few days ago that that also works for the zoom factor on a memory so one can have a specific zoom level for a specific memory , on some of the memories i have they are jammed in amongst several high power SW stations and was continually zooming in on the band after clicking a memo...

Re: How to know if SAM mode is locked and what the offset is?

Find a AM SW station , click SAM , then use the scroll wheel on mouse in frequency window on say the 100's khz (pick whichever you like) then move 100 or 500hz and you will hear a pitched noise as SAM re-locks on to it , then to check the offset click usb or lsb adjusting to zero beat and that'll be...

MMSSTV and the new YoniQ Mode

MMSSTV has been updated a bit into the 21st century by some EA's over there in Espania , the latest version is 1.13.3 and is on the EA's website http://radiogalena.es/yoniq/ and use a translator , YoniQ does have some quirks still . I came across this Glitch? again today

RSPdx , after it was sitting around for a month or so unused , i plugged it in and fired up sdrc and the noise floor indicator needle was at a 8 and the s-meter needle was stuck at a S-9 and nothing i did (adjusting rf-gain/if gain) would get them any lower even with no antenna , then i faintly reca...
