Try specifying separate serial poerts for HRD and Icom,m and enable them both in Console. I have successfully done this with two different logging programs, i.e. got both of them successfully talking to the same instance of Console simultaneously.

Yes, just about 600mb here. You won't need much more for a single or even multiple radios, unless you're making IQ recordings. I put those on a separate disk anyway. My user files take a few mb.. includes all my radio and favourites definitions.

If it's the SDRPlay, then I always use manual in order to keep the gain constant in the event of strong signals coming and going.
