Even though the 2-controller card is more expensive, I ordered the 4-controller card just because it seems that the 4 controllers is more a benefit than the USB 3.2. I use the four controller version of the StarTech card. I don't have an Rx-888 but it works nicely with everything I have tried. In theory it can run a total throughput of four times USB 3.1 throughput, full throughput on each controller. If one port is "used up" by something like an AirS...
