Re: Issues with Geostationary Satellite Beacon View
Hello Simon, Another interesting observation about the drawing of the line in the graph: By detuning the beacon in the right part of the window, the line immediate appears in the left graph. The drawing/update of the line stops as soon as the displayed beacon frequency does no longer change. Maybe t...

Re: Issues with Geostationary Satellite Beacon View
Hello Simon, I just did some tests with the window being docked. The '+' and '-' buttons seem to work as intended (greyed out when the max/min scale is reached), however, I do not see a line in the graph as well with a docked window. Setting the zoom to max when the window is docked leaves the '+' b...

Issues with Geostationary Satellite Beacon View
Hello Simon, I'm observing a strange and not reproducible behaviour of the Geostationary Satellite Beacon View. The issue is visible with 3.0.26, but I already observed it with previous releases as well. The effect seems to be independent of the beacon sync being activated or not and the view being ...

Re: Spectrum not showing full bandwidth
Hello Charlie,
Glad to help and read that your setup is working as expected. Yes, there are so many adjustments in this beautiful software that it's easy to get one wrong by accident.

Re: Spectrum not showing full bandwidth
Hello Charlie,
Your screenshot shows the "RX-Filter" slider set to 24%. Please try setting this to 100% and you should see the entire 500kHz as selected by your bandwidth setting. (Apart from some inherent dropdown at the bandwidth edges).

Re: Starting and Stopping the Pluto
Ah, I usually use fast attack, nice catch. Thing is, the gain isn't set until the radio is started, so it must be that the gain's being set too soon and the radio needs a while to 'warm up'. Pity the poor programmer :( . Hello Simon, From my observation, I can see that the RX hardwaregain is not co...

Re: Starting and Stopping the Pluto
No, it had the same problem as identified in the above posted screenshots ie all the noise had gone, after stopping and restarting the radio. Logfile was done at the time I saw the spectrum change. Again, recovery only by closing SDRC, unplugging radio, plugging it back in (ie physically with USB c...

Re: Pluto manual gain setting
Hi Manfred, There is no big progress so far. My current workaround is to set the manual gain to 71 (and visual gain to 0), as this seems to be the default setting of the Pluto after power on. With this setting, I do not need to fiddle around with the gain slider to get a usable display setting. With...

Re: 3.0.25 - high memory usage
Yes, the radio modulation/demodulation is usable all time in full duplex, there is no noticeable interruption on RX or TX when memory usage is increasing. Radio continued working even while the waterfall freezed for several seconds after switching back from LOG4OM. I'm not sure if tuning was possibl...
