Minimum s-meter reading
Hi, Is there any reason why the s-meter reading doesn't go below -140 dBm? I https://dl.dropbox.com/s/doja7yl4yzmuloe/shot_201104_101622.png The signal in the picture above is at (appr) -145 dBm while the S-meter shows -140 dBm. Or is there a setting that I can adjust to change the minimum value? 73...

Re: FT8 on Hermes Lite 2 (or any other SDR TX)
Hi,
I can confirm SDRC / HL2 is working with both WSJT-X and MSHV.
Make sure to use a VAC (virtual audio cable) for the audio part and a virtual COM port to connect SDRC with a decoding program.
In the decoding program use the Kenwood TS-2000 as a rig.

HL2 with SDR server
Hi,
Today I tried to use SDR-server with HL2, unfortunately this SDR transceiver doesn't show up in the list while it does with SDR-console.
Is this by design or did I miss something?
I'm using the latest official 3.0.25 software.

Re: Gigabyte BLCE-4000C BRIX PC
Hi Simon,
Tnx for the tip: I bought a similar barebone model GB-BLCE-4105C (rev. 1.0) and added 8G of ram and a 250G SSD drive.
SDRC with MSHV runs very smooth, it will be used as a remote station to get rid of the local rf-noise.

Monitor RX behavior
hi Simon, I'm using a HL2 with a 144/28 transverter to work weaks signals on 2 meters. Therefore I have a VAC from RS to MSHV https://dl.dropbox.com/s/t3kwvx47r50ry0o/shot_200812_122139.png Works fine but I also want to listen to the signal and 'assumed' the RX button in the monitor would let me lis...
