{o.o}
There used to be a distinct zero frequency spike in my old Si570-based SDR, but there doesn't seem to be one in the RSP1A.

I am pretty sure there isn't.

I guess it might be possible to add an option in Tools... Tuning to have an optional tick box to centre the radio on the tuned frequency. One for the "Requests" subforum!
Thanks, Jim

Centralise Frequency on Panadapter

I am using a SDRPlay RSP1A linked to the Slave port of Logger32 and the IF output of an FTdx5000 as a panadapter. When I click on a DX spot in Logger32, it sends the FTdx5000 to the correct frequency then sends that frequency to SDRC via the Slave port. SDRC dutifully changes to display the frequenc...

Re: Scale - High/Low - per band?

Thanks, Barry.
I was hoping it would be automatic.
The SDR is just a display for me, I don't interact with it any more than I have to.

Scale - High/Low - per band?

Is it possible to have the scale settings ( the Low and High sliders that pop up when you hover over the top right of the spectrum pane) changes according to the band in use? I have the RSP1A tuned to the 9MHz IF of my transceiver, with the frequency display showing the frequency the transceiver is ...

Re: Default Zoom Setting

I have my panadapter following the transceiver band again now.

Re: Panadapter not tracking

I appear to have found the problem with my panadapter setup.
In the External Radio pane, I had to switch the external radio to Power Off.
Now, everything seems to be in order.

Cheers,

John

Re: Default Zoom Setting

Max, Thank you. I have had a look at the Favourites. I think I'm not a typical SDRC user, in that I only use it as a panadapter, displaying the IF of my transceiver. I never listen to the SDR, only to the transceiver. SDRC is purely a visual aid. I therefore want the SDR scale to display, automatica...

Re: Panadapter not tracking

Following on from my earlier post, if, for instance, I change my transceiver from 20m to 30m, the RX1 window in the receive DSP panel displays the new frequency, 10.104.262, but the spectrum and waterfall in the main window remain firmly tuned to where they were, currently 14.275 +/-75kHz. I'm prett...

Panadapter not tracking

I am using SDRConsole with a RSP1A as a panadapter, displaying the 9MHz IF output of my FTdx5000 transceiver. I have the SDRC Seriual port linked to the Logger32 Slave port via a virtual cable, so Omnirig is not involved. When all is well, I see a green cursor moving up and down the display as I tur...
