Re: FLRig as External Radio ?

Yes but then I have to use Omnirig.
Whereas I have pretty darned good control over the rig from FLRig, including a memory bank.

Re: FLRig as External Radio ?

For one, WSJTx . I use the audio out from SDRC to Line#1 VAC. That Line#1 is the Audio Input to WSJTx (among other programs).

I would like to see the VFO sync with the frequency of SDRC's "RX 1"

My receiving for digital work is through the RSPduo .

Re: FLRig as External Radio ?

Look at the difference of rig "Control".

And many programs open Omnirgig as a service.
SDRuno is one. OR I call it a Service anyway ...in order to find and kill it, one must use Process Explorer or somesuch BEFORE one can again use FlRig.

Re: FLRig as External Radio ?

I asked this about 6 months ago.
I would still like to use FlRig as an External Radio to control my rigs ... along with SDRC V3.1 which I am using with my SDRPlay RSPDuo.

Any hope for FlRig ?

Re: Using Line-1 out of SDRC to WSJTx Audio In causes Delay

Great information jdow. You've clearly been pondering this general type of issue I see. This morning I ran HDSDR and let it output to Line-1 VAC. WSJTx has been copying some FT8 on 6m. I see now that Simon was (as we'd expect!) correct assumptions about RTL. At least, as I see the decodes, the same ...

Re: Using Line-1 out of SDRC to WSJTx Audio In causes Delay

Hello Simon. Time Offset, expressed as dT: I crudely circled the area inside WSJTx While the NOOELEC dongle is cheap, admittedly, I am unsure where I would 'calibrate' the time offset. I believe I can, however, adjust the frequency-correction somewhere. So, since my RTL is the cheap end, are there r...

Re: Using Line-1 out of SDRC to WSJTx Audio In causes Delay

I am including three screenshots. VB as a substitute for VAC made absolutely no difference. That is the jpeg with VB & RTL . What is significant is that if I restart SDRC, then the dT ALWAYS begins at 0.9. After perhaps 1.5 to 2 hours, I begin seeing the 2.5 dT This is repeatable. So, changing v...

Using Line-1 out of SDRC to WSJTx Audio In causes Delay

I use the VAC from https://vac.muzychenko.net/en/ to output Line-1 . Then I use Line-1 as the Audio source in WSJTx RC4. When using FT8, I see delay (dT) of up to 2.5 seconds. Typically the delay is 1.0 to .15 . So, when I run the same WSJTx and use my rig's USB-Audio-Codec as the Audio-In source, I...

FLRig as External Radio ?

I'd like SDR Console to track my FT450 that I use for 6m digital work Sdr Console reads an RTL whereby the signal from the yagi has gone thru an LNA. Trouble comes when the FT450 is run by FLRig, which is not selectable as an external radio. OmniRig clashes with FLRig. Has anyone tried using FLRig a...
