might just be a timing thing when loading firmware.
i have a powered USB3 hub and have left RX888 plugged in for weeks at a time - firing up SDRC whenever i was moved to look at some spectrum or tune in a transmission.
this was the first time i ever had an impediment to that pattern of use.

Re: RX888 start up not working?
had to plug and unplug a few times to collect the log files. thanks for the hunch, but i made sure to exercise all the possibilities before posting. (back to edit a few minutes later) huh! left the thing un-powered overnight, plugged it back in, and now it's running. what can i say? <shrug> gotta lu...

RX888 start up not working?
between a few Betas ago and Sept. 16, my unchanged hardware setup no longer is able to detect or use the RX888 Mk II. log files seem interesting in that the RX888 is responding to probes and the responses look successful. the unit serial number appears to be retrieved where, as best i can recall, be...

Re: Search: ANAN-10E. not found
in your situation, one would normally add a DHCP address reservation for the statically addressed device. this way your dashboard shows you meant to have a static address in the DHCP range. technically, ANAN-10/10E *do not* support Protocol 2. the firmware made for them stopped at the Beta phase and...

Re: Search: ANAN-10E. not found
yes, thank you, PD3LK, i was a member of the SDR Console list when the events referenced by the web link occurred. i think there might be reason to revisit the issue, as the ANAN-10E is not at all like the other ANAN hardware (model numbers > 10) in its ability to load a Protocol 2 firmware *and sti...

Re: Search: ANAN-10E. not found
there are no firewall issues as linHPSDR, SparkSDR, and PowerSDR all find and control the radio. thank you, but configuring the firewall was something done here long ago when first i built a Hermes Lite. firmware in the radio is latest stable release (1.5). (checked openHPSDR git repo) ah! Protocol ...

Search: ANAN-10E. not found
i attempted to connect to an ANAN-10E which has already been verified using linHPSDR. Result: "Nothing found, sorry!" however, in the logfile, there appears a response when i lied to SDRC 3.0.26 and told it to look for a Hermes Lite. Note the ANAN-10E has obtained IP address 192.168.3.54 (...
