Re: FDM-S3 internal filter

Ok, I'll order some and let you know.
I'm not sure if they are configured in FDM-S2 SW and loaded to the S3, or if just the FDM-S2 SW does the job.

FDM-S3 internal filter

Hello Simon,

do you have plans to support the internal filter bank switching of the FDM-S3?

Re: RX-888 and 3.0.25

Ok, here they are ... The lower was taken after running the Console for a few hours, RAM usage is constant at 2GB and all is working perfectly. Then I stressed my system by opening Ligthroom, but it also could have been just Chrome with many tabs open or whatever brings my (weak) CPU to the limit. T...

Re: RX-888 and 3.0.25

Hi Simon, I now made some more experience with my RX-888 and Console, it works pretty good! Most of the time - what I still observe is the 'memory eating' effect. It starts when Console starts to stutter, caused by other processes running temporarily on my PC. As soon as Console started to stutter (...

Re: RX-888 and 3.0.25

Another observation: I set the waterfall resolution back to default, stuttering is back and RAM eating also. There seems to be a correlation between CPU overload by waterfall FFT, stuttering and RAM eating.

Re: RX-888 and 3.0.25

Ok, that made me wonder ... I stopped Windows search, than still synchronisation of offline files is running but this seems to be ok. Now, I can run the RX-888 at full bandwidth and all is fine. Also, the RAM is arround 1.8GB, not sure if it increases anymore, I'll let it run a while and watch it. S...

Re: RX-888 and 3.0.25

RX-888 and 3.0.25

Hi Simon, I just received my RX-888 and tried to use it with latest SDRConsole. As a result, audio is always stuttering and RAM usage is constantly adding up to 20G (!) within a short period of time and thus stopping the complete system, which is an i5-1035G4 CPU with 16GB RAM. The same computer usi...
