Recording freq wrong in Automatic Schedule
Normally, as Automatic Schedule switches from satellite to satellite, the frequency in the waterfall and the spectrum changes to the upcoming satellite frequency. It works fine except for the first satellite. For the first satellite, the frequency that is used for the waterfall and the spectrum is t...

Re: Higher "Min elev" for satellite passes
Thank you Simon. The "Min elev" works great. I tested it yesterday and today. It only records the passes with an elevation at or above the set elevation. I'll post a screenshot below showing the correct operation with NOAA 19. It did not record the earlier pass that was below the 20 degree...

Re: Higher "Min elev" for satellite passes
Yes, it should record the whole pass for any pass that has a maximum elevation at or higher than the "Min elevation". Any pass with a maximum elevation lower than the "Min elevation" should NOT be recorded. In this way, you only record the passes that you assess as "good&quo...

Re: Higher "Min elev" for satellite passes
Not sure I understand the question.
Short summary.
The "Min elevation" should determine which passes get recorded.
However, all passes get recorded regardless of what is set (and shows) as "Min Elevation".

Re: Higher "Min elev" for satellite passes
Here is an updated explanation of the request to make the "Min. elevation" function work correctly for satellite passes. The "Min. elevation" that can be set was recently increased to 80 degrees. That is good. However, that unfortunately only affected what is displayed in the two...

Re: Higher "Min elev" for satellite passes
Since the Automatic Scheduler Minimum Elevation change to 80 degrees didn't happen in 3.0.27, I wonder if it is planned for the next release? The issue is described extensively in the preceding messages on this topic. To summarise, the Automatic Scheduler Minimum Elevation is the part that doesn't w...

Re: Higher "Min elev" for satellite passes
Is it planned that the Automatic Scheduler min elev be increased from 20 degrees to 80 degrees in the next version so that passes with a lower elevation than the min elev that is set can be excluded from being automatically recorded?

Re: Higher "Min elev" for satellite passes
Well, it looks like there has been a misunderstanding about the problem with minimum elevation settings for automatically scheduling satellite passes. The main advantage and usefulness of the suggested change was to greatly reduce the unwanted recordings for many low elevation passes by increasing t...

Re: Recording Audio?
Thanks Jim, I see that now, I guess that wont automatically begin recording during a sat pass? In the Satellites View, you can use Automatic Schedule. Add the satellites to it that you want to record. Make sure the correct frequencies are in the satellite definitions. And activate Enable Tracking w...

Re: Automatic Schedule sometimes doesn't switch frequencies
Here is an example from this morning of SDR Console not changing frequencies. I started with Automatic Schedule off and Enable Tracking off. I tuned to 137.025 MHz with the WFM centred on 137.000. Then I turned on the Automatic Scheduler and the Enable Tracking. The frequency did not change even tho...
