It's all about the Software

I have been testing a Wellgood Loop Antenna with an RX-888 MKII. I've been getting impressive results, especially around 5 MHz for the UK Aero Volmets where there is a low noise floor.

But I have a huge noise jump from around 8.5 MHz to 12 MHz...

While investigating the QRM generated by a local AM BC station that jumps to 5KW at local sunrise, I found the following action with the Radio Airspy Discovery using my
normal settings of:
AGC High (or low) doesn't matter
Attenuator OFF
Pre Amp OFF...

About 5 years ago, I set up an FT-817 and an RTL-SDR with SDRC. It worked perfectly, sats were tracked, doppler was corrected, I found stations on the waterfall and just pressed PTT on the microphone to work them. Now, I'm trying to get back...

I have used the Memories a lot more recently, for example to put beacon frequencies in, or for using as a scratchpad during openings.

I find it's better...

I haven't used my Pluto D for two months, when I start the SDR console (3.4) I usually, but not always, get the display below. What can be the cause?
