Hello,
Is it possible to utilize some, or all, of the listings in Short-Wave.Info
into the "Frequency Database", and use it to ID stations, etc. ?
Thanks,
Bob

From OP For Max: Re: SAM Question
Hi Max,
Nice to hear from you.
Yes, your suggestion of changing the "mode mapping" setting works.
Thanks; I never would have thought, or known about, that setting.
Will read up on SAM; today's project
CSVULB and Console sure makes a really nice combination.
Best regards, stay well,
Bob

SAM Question
Hi, Always something new: Have noticed that when I am on a am station, and the "AM" button is depressed, if I move to another frequency it seems to automatically go to "SAM". Why ? Is there perhaps a Default I have set inadvertently somewhere ? Probably a good opportunity now to ...

"Radio Frequency" (Freq. and Span) Setting Box
Hi, Might just be me, but in using the "Radio Frequency" box that comes up by pressing Home/Frequency that allows the setting of Frequency and Span: Again, it might be me, but it seems that the numbers you enter do not appear, always, where you have placed the cursor for where you want the...

Frequency Box That Appears When Pressing A Number
Hello,
Might it be possible to alter the "Frequency" box that comes up when pressing a number
such that it also allows the setting of Span ?
Like the box that appears in Home/Frequency which has both.
Thanks for considering.
Regards,
Bob

File Structure Question
Hello, This really isn't important. It's just asking for someone to educate me a bit, and my desire to learn a bit more on File structures, etc. I have been using the latest version, 3.1 with CSVUserList Browser talking to it. They really work well together; a nice combination. So, I thought I would...

Re: Showing The Various Bands New Feature: How ?
Hi Barry,
Thanks.
I'll download the Beta also, and play with it.
Fun to see what other "goodies" the Beta has.
Regards, and stay well,
Bob

For Barry et al From OP: Re: Showing The Various Bands New Feature: How ?
Hi Barry,
As usual I must be missing something.
If I go to VIEW, I have above Spectrum:
Peaks-Shaded-Maximum window
Then, the next one to the right is: Markers.
Then DX Cluster
Nothing that says or implies Bands or Band Plan
So, what am I missing, please ?
Thanks for help,
Bob

Showing The Various Bands New Feature: How ?
Hello, Running vers. 3.1 build 2320 which I assume is the very latest. True ? I am just getting started again, so may have this wrong. I seem to remember reading recently that Console now can show the various bands (limits) graphically superposed on the Spectrum display. e.g., the various Ham bands,...
