Re: SDR-CONSOLE with more than one radio window
C I have used the Rx666 and 888 as quite a few here have. I've not used them fully but SDR -Console will run many receivers (Separate slices off the same SDR) with them. There is now the Mk 2 RX888 which looks more attractive - and so it goes on... Search this group and the io group for reviews. 73 ...

The easy way is to use a SDR which covers a wider bandwidth.
There are several. The RX888 is much better than the RTLs, 8 against 16 bits, and covers at least 30MHz, possibly 60MHz now?
30MHz = >12 RTLs.

Re: QO100 beacon signal level
I should have thought, even that is not so simple. You have to know what bandwidth the SNR is being measured in to be able to compare. An interesting point. I've no figure for when I tried, must get it going again. The SNR however you measure it should be set by the time the signal leaves the LNB. D...

David,
Signal strength readings mean nothing.
Compare the Signal to Noise Ratio, then decide if anything is wrong.

"I've never had a CPU die on me." Quite a long time ago I had a collection of compatible CPUs and motherboards. One stopped working. I moved the CPU to a working board, it did not work. I put another CPU into the original board, it did not work. I do not know what failed first but I had th...

Yes, a complicated situation. Like how far back do we erase history, if we removed Chinese-made items we'd have very little left.
The designer of the 888 etc is happy to see them produced for us to use.

Re: Current requirement
I've not got a USB3 current meter but thought it was about 800mA.
Your extras could well make the total 1.5 Amps, I've never thought it wise to approach the maximum specified for any PSU.

Yes, I had a similar thing with a 666 but that recovered when cool, I added a fan.
It greatly reduced the drift as well as enabling continuous use.
And, possibly increasing life although these days things usually become obsolete before breaking down.

I'm another one who likes to have all screenshots, saved pictures etc in the same folder.
As Eelco says, no big deal but I like to think I have some little control over my computer.

My notes "If it's drivers then Device Manager looks like the left picture here https://www.sdr-radio.com/rx-666#Driver if good like the right. If the driver on Simon's link is no good try the one that worked for me found:- http://withrobot.com/en/technical-data/?ckattempt=1&mod=document&...
