I removed the AM BC filter on KA1GJU Super Station #2

I happened to be in the repeater shed and noticed a user on the new SDR-IP was down in the LW band. The AM BC filter was primarily for the RSP1A due to it's poor front end hearing/seeing AM signals all the way up into 40m. So... enjoy AM BC now on Super Station #2! Unless I get complaints about over...

Re: 3.3 build 2870 - Waterfall "noise" while adjusting the brightness/contrast

I think you might me exceeding the limits of your computer. BC-FM uses more CPU resources vs SSB, from my humble observations. For example my Airspy Discovery at the max bandwidth of 912kHz show ~10%, BC-FM makes it go up to 23% at times, but I'm currently on an aging HP laptop i5 5th generation wit...

Re: HF Noise Jump - Wellgood Loop / RX-888 MKII

I have an active loop that I use for DF'ing noises (RFI). I plot the nulls on a paper map (google map in satellite map mode zoomed in to the neighborhood) or use APRS.fi and use the plotter tool zoomed in on a satellite map thats zoomed in. Neighbors treadmill and leaky powerlines were found using m...

Bug in last two Betas

While using the Airspy on Super Station #1, I get a rapid pulsing (ticking) sound when RXing a signal thats not near the center of bandscope. This occurs ONLY when operating at bandwidth of 384 thru 912 kHz . Happens on two different client laptops. When used locally, ie running SDRC on the laptop t...

Re: Propagation area

Wide, squiggly lines lowering if frequency with time are RF Ovens. They leak RF and harmonics are heard all over the place.

Re: Stuttering audio and then crash

On the widest bandwidth SDR (2Mhz), my 5th generation i5 (i5-5200)@2.2GHz gives me a 40% CPU load on BC-FM. When I go to USB it drops to 23%. This is only at 2MHz bandwidth, where you are running 20MHz as far as my eyes can tell on the image. This laptop only has the Intel(R) HD Graphics 5500. But I...
