Manually changing the system date to a pre 03/20/2021 fixes the display of city lights when the Night Map option is selected.

I don't believe I remember seeing the city lights during the day.

Just what screen resolution are you using?

Edited to add: Changing my resolution to 1024x768 and disabling scaling & I can't recreate what you are seeing.

In the Control Panel, be sure and set the VAC Properties to Listen to this Device.

It looks to me that you are running Linux? Is that correct? SDR Console is a Windows program.
