Re: CSVUserlistBrowser

Re: Reduction in CPU usage via CUDA

Nicely done David. I've decided on the DIY route, parts arriving on Thursday ready for a weekend build. Condensing two desktops down to one. In the meantime I've added 4GB RAM, an SSD and a 7 year-old Radeon graphics card to the current radio PC and I have to say it now motors very nicely. The new b...

Re: SDR Console as a simple WEB SDR (originally posted on IO group)

i have two years on you two and the first school computer circa 1976/77 used punched cards and didn't do much more than a calculator. I was much quicker with a slide rule than punching cards! It is good that both of you found where your expertise lay and I am grateful i can learn from you, to a mode...

Re: Easy access to tuning steps.

As a MW DXer, i would appreciate 9kHz and 10kHz being two of the choices. Switching between US and EU channel spacing would be a delight and hopefully well-received by our US cousins.
Thank you Simon

Interesting. I'll have to give CSVUB another look. What happens if you sort on a column that contains empty spaces?

Re: Reduction in CPU usage via CUDA

Ed - Exactly what I'm going to do for this new build. A 1TB drive is less than I paid for a 240GB SATA SSD 7 years ago. Max - I bought all my "Main PC" bits from them 7 years ago and it too is still going strong. I'm building up a shopping list during this week, hoping they'll do a bundle ...

Re: Reduction in CPU usage via CUDA

TNX for the input Dave and Simon. i looked at CCL's website and was quite impressed initially. An RTB warranty is not very useful in my view, and i wasn't happy with the choice of mobo. Gigabyte is my preferred brand but i wanted more than two spare slots and a few more USB2/3 ports. I think I've go...

Re: Reduction in CPU usage via CUDA

I'm glad this subject has cropped up again as I'm pricing up a new PC, mainly as a "radio" computer for SDRC. Up until now, I've struggled along with something pretty ancient and terribly underpowered. Now i want to other things i read about here! I've already had to drop from an i7 to an ...
