I don't think there is a way of hopping like that, you need to make the entries then click with the mouse.
When a new carrier is seen, just make a new entry for it then you can go back to it when it reappears.

Hi Jack,
Provided your computer has enough grunt, you can open up multiple receivers and by unmuting them all, you will hear any transmissions.
This is assuming that all the frequencies are within the current span of the radio.

The CW Skimmer may well do what you need it to.... it sends out an IQ signal on a virtual sound card of your choice. I've used it to feed HDSDR to pipe FM signal to RDS Spy. Your best bet is to attach a screenshot (generated by Console) of when you have the noise, showing on the waterfall. Someone may be able to offer an idea.
