On the unread posts page at the top is a familiar triple bars icon. If I click on it something pops up. But it is completely obscured by the New posts and Unread posts buttons. I dunno - I just got curious and pressed the triple bars to see what...

When using Unread posts a way to mark a topic read without wasting the time to go into the topic and back out would be nice.

As far as I can tell there is no current version phpBB extension offering topic- or post-level voting (or even like/dislike?).
While I understand the Console development path is not driven by users, would Simon consider this a desirable forum...

It would be nice if the user was sent to the first unread message in a topic that contains unread messages when that topic is selected. It'd be a nice time saver.

It would be nice to comment to specific posts. Then on read have the option for linear time or read by threads following each thread to the end before moving to next thread. Other sorts are possible, of course. For display:
message 1
message 2
|...

When using unread posts it would be very nice if they could be sorted up or down by time of last post, time of first post, or title.

Is there an easy way to get an overview of new posts (e.g. since last visit) when I enter the forum?
I find it hard and slow to get an grasp of whats new and what has changed in all these subject bins.
