WSJT Interfacing

Any help on that?
Console and rig on com3. WSJT wil not "share" the port. (as expected) and I am not quite sure what the diff is between console and SW2, as wsjt works flawlessly with SW2.

Simon,
I find that rig control via WSJT, changes the freq on the rig BUT console is still on the original freq. and I have to change frq on console. Thats really weird.

Is WSJT talking to Console or the external radio? I can honestly I've never tried to set frequency from WSJT.

Have you tried a different com port on Console and enabling that as well?

To take my example.. I have set up several pairs of virtual com ports. I run 2 separate programs that connect to Console.
Within Console, I have ticked Com 8 and Com16, and the associated programs are connected to the "pair partner" of these com ports (Com 9 and 17 respectively).

Tune Console... both programs will show the frequency change.
Initiate a frequency change from either program.. shows up on Console AND the other program.

So what you need to do is:
1. Use Com 3 on Console as you do for your radio already.
2. Set up a virtual com port pair - say COM7 and COM8
3. Tick COM8 in Console, and tell WSJT to use COM7 for radio interface.

Give that a try and see if it works.

Changing from WSJT is convenient. I will try your suggestions.
