Hi Roger

I am sure you read this on the HL2 Group, and don't know if you are still experiencing relay clicking, but seems the HL2 PTT hang time can be adjusted which may well help your situation, I guess in the firmware. You may want to read the comments made by Steve regarding how to do this.

Thanks Max, I believe the ptt hang time should be accessible through the controlling software, but I'm not sure where to find it in sdrconsole.

Regards,

Roger.

Message for Simon: Is it possible to implement PTT Hang Time in SDRC for HL2? I guess this should go in requests? I will also post there.

Roger, not sure if you already saw this or anything therein that might help? At the very least it might help identify which of the described scenarios fits your issue?

From a google groups post:
Powersdr v3.5 beta7, there I found at Setup/HPSDR: TX BUFFER LATENCY of (10) and
PTT HANG of (4). This are the Default settings on install! I changed those settings and Bingo ! The relay chatter was gone.

I have tried v3.5 beta7 and can confirm that increasing the values reduces chatter, so if these were both accessible in SDRc it would be my choice of sdr program.

Cheers,

Roger.
